In 2024, Third Strand partnered with Milkify™ to become the first NonProfit Milk Bank in the United States to provide freeze-dried donor milk to families, at no cost to them.

This innovative process allows Third Strand to distribute a safe product that is easy to store and use.

Third Strand and Milkify™ work together to ensure the safety and integrity of each donors’ milk. The milk is delivered to our families in a powdered form with easy to follow instructions for mixing and is shelf-stable, not needing to be stored in a freezer.
